The Goal: To work with the men and women of the NY Law Enforcement Community to address their personal financial goals. Laidlaw Blue will offer financial planning, investment & risk management, insurance services and estate planning services to help the Law Enforcement Community provide financial security and stability for themselves and their families. Many officers lack the resources to obtain comprehensive financial planning. Our goal is to offer comprehensive financial planning at an affordable cost.

NYPD WITH ARMS WIDE OPEN
Born from the experiences of Police Officer Merritt Riley and his family, NYPD WITH ARMS WIDE OPEN, answers the call to create a community for cops and their families with special needs children. Often times the families with special needs children feel isolated and are searching for an organization that can address their very specific needs and issues. We help these families care for their children while navigating through the culture, complexities and dangers of being a member of the New York City Police Department.
Unique in our mission, NYPD WITH ARMS WIDE OPEN is available to any cop, active or retired, regardless of rank. As there are never any dues, donations and fundraising is our organization’s only source of funding.
Thin Blue Line Foundation
We are able to provide short-term financial support to officers in need, funding for training, college scholarships, kevlar vest funding, online resources that help equip law enforcement to manage the personal hardships of their role, spiritual support through Police Chaplaincy, support to fallen officer families, and crisis intervention assistance. The Thin Blue Line Foundation is committed to creating a groundswell of support from the silent majority for the men and women that represent the Thin Blue Line.

Cop to Corporate
I have been a mentor, coach, and champion of hundreds of law enforcement professionals looking for advice and guidance on transitioning to the private sector. Because of the sheer amount of requests for transition advice, I founded Cop to Corporate – Life After Law Enforcement in 2014. So many law enforcement professionals “under-value” their skills when thinking about other careers. Cop to Corporate’s mission is to provide FREE insights, tips, and advice on thoughtfully planning for life after law enforcement and bringing out all of their wonderful experiences, competencies, and talents to the private sector.
